Foodie Blogs

Have been visiting foodie blogs recently and my, I must say that I was totally impressed with their blogs! Wished that I can cook like them someday.=) Still trying hard to improve on my cooking skills during this holiday.

Some very superb, awesome, incredible, super food blogs I love to linger....

#The pictures are in this blog are great! Nice lighting and presentation of food. There's some really simple and delicious recipes. There's also some tips on cooking the food. Would try them out someday!:)

#I like this blog's food. I really envy her son and daughter because the food she prepared look really sumptuous and nutritious. (wished I can be like her) There's lots of food-- from brownies to sushi. She also owns other blogs like handicraft blogs. She's indeed an amazing mum!

#I like this blog though can't understand a word. It's a Japanese blog. But who cares right? Looking at the kawaii bentos just makes my stomach rumble.

I love reading foodie blogs. It's enjoyable yet torturing at the same time. Torturing because you can only look but not eat. :(

FREEDOM!!!

Finished my SPM last week. But too busy indulging myself in many things! Reading comics, watching some taiwanese soap, japanese anime, reading novels, go out with friends and sis.... The taste of freedom is just so sweet~^.^

However I'm feeling a little empty after SPM:( Dunno why leh~~ perhaps missing the life at school--devouring books all the time to prepare for the exams and being together with friends. *sob*

Oh well....

Cleared up lots of stuff. Didn't expect that I have so much papers to sell to the galang guni... sigh... I'd surely miss those days~

I love flowers Small ones,
Big ones,
Expensive ones in the florist,
Little insignificant ones growing at the pathway…

They have their own beauty whether tiny or huge.

Here’s some flowers I took in the morning from the roadside, Quite insignificant, But I think they’re such pretty little ones, I know they will wilt soon, So I took some pictures of them so they will be immortalized in my bloggie =)

Holidays Over (-.-)

Almost finished my holiday homework today… and this is the last day… the last day of my week long holiday. (~.~) *sob*

It’s just too fast, too short!! And I haven’t really enjoyed the holidays.

The most difficult part at the end of the holidays is to switch my holiday mood to schooling mode.

THIS IS SOOOOOOOOOOOO SAD……

No more nine hours a day sleep,
No more sleeping until
No more lazing around without homework,
No more jalan jalan every day……

Haiz… so many no mores but so many mores after school reopens

More homework
More extra classes
More teachers reminding you about how little time you have for studying
More pressure from teachers
More zoos opening to accommodate the increasing population of pandas (more sleep deprived students having panda eyes)

got to go now to finish physics homework. I’ll have to face the music if I didn’t do xxx homework. (Her eyes are so big that I think she may gobble me up with that glace of hers)

BeAuTiFul MoRninG....

Took photo of this tree against the sunlight
Flowers I "stole" to take this pic:)

along the gravel path

Woke up quite early in the morning.

Felt warm rays of the morning sun on my skin,

Strolled along a gravel path,

Smelt sweet scent of the blooming flowers,

The birds chirping,

The squirrels jumping,

What a wonderful morning!

Sometimes I think that people should really stop from their hectic schedule. Stop rushing and learn how to relax ourselves, enjoy the peace and tranquility beside us and appreciating the beauty of Mother Nature.

身后长着翅膀的漂亮姐姐;

THE HOLIDAYS are finally here!!!!!!!

Yip! Yip! Yipee!!!

But wait! This holiday don’t seem like a holiday… especially for SPM holders like me. *sigh*

Here’s the reason why……

1. Homework! LOADS of them…. English, Chemistry notes, Physics(18 pages of worksheets@.@), and Maths…. (mati pengsan lah aku~)

2. Need to go for extra boring classes during the Hols for 4 days! Add Maths (very sien one loh), History (2 days) and Chemistry. (Phew~ that’s tedious)

9 days holiday minus 4 days for going to school, minus 1 day for doing homework… Poof…Poof!!! There goes my holiday. Haiz……. Thinking of this just makes me so depressed. *sob*Guess there’s no more for Holidays for me.

Looking on the brighter side, I’m finally getting some much needed rest. :) I’m gonna sleep, sleep and sleep throughout the hols….. Schooling has really deprived me off my beauty sleep *yawn* Plus, I’ll get to watch the Olympics in the morning and afternoons. Also, my class party is during the holidays, something really worth looking forward to! =)

NS frenzy

In school, everyone was excited about the NS.

Everyone in my class was so curious to know which of our classmates were selected for the NS, especially Lun Lun, who was extremely excited about the whole thing. She was practically asking every single people she spots entering our classroom. Actually, I’m quite excited about the whole thing too! Everyone in class was chit-chatting like sparrows about the NS. Some of the selected ones were glad, yet some were very sad. Afiqah even cried when she got to know that she was selected for the NS. The not selected ones were like “Thank God, not me …” As for me, I just take this easy lah~~

p/s: About half of my classmates got selected for the NS! Cool right?

SeLEcTed……^.^

Went to Physics Tuition today and the whole tuition centre was like: "你有没有中?我有咧!/ 我没有!"

I also joined in the fun by sms-ing my IC number to 33995. The suspense is really hard to bear.... and OH MY GOD!!! I can't believe that I'm ACTUALLY selected for the NS! I was like man; this is sooooooooo C-O-O-OL!!

Heard from my cousins and friends that PLKN is quite fun and enjoyable. So, I've always wanted to experience it myself! And now I've got the chance of the lifetime to go there!! Quite a number of my friends got selected for the NS.

So far, there's about 10 persons from my class: Yeo Yeo, Lun Lun, 芮芮,凯龄,and others.... :)

Victory:D

I woke up extra early in the morning. It’s quite unusual for me to wake up this early during Saturday mornings, sacrificed my beauty sleep just for this competition. I wore my blue pinafore which has been left hanging for quite sometime in my cupboard. It has been a long time since I wore this pinafore. Luckily it still fitted me nicely. Or should I say I’ve haven’t grown up all these years. (That was my pinafore since I was in Form 1. *sob* =_= ate so much rice but still pint-sized.) Reached school about 7.00 a.m. Waited for a while till Han arrived and as usual, Yeo reached last. (Haiz…. She memang princess lah~)

En. Asman (who is really a quite and soft spoken teacher) fetched us to HS using his silver proton Iswara for the Pembentangan Power Point Moral competition. He registered us at HS and asked us to pick a number for the lucky draw that would be carried out later. I picked number 13, though according to superstitions it was an unlucky number. But I can feel it calling me to pick it and so I did. The competition was held in a room which was freezing. There were about 10 schools participating in this competition. We chose the fifth row and settled down (We chose it because it was a little elevated. Can have better view mah~) Han, Yeo and I cuddled together like kittens to gain some warmth because the air-con blasting at full. To make matter worst, we were positioned right under a fan. Brr… finally knew what it is like living in ‘antartica’.
Had tea break at 9.00 a.m. which consist of “ayan masak merah” and corn rice. Brought a little friend (Jia Hui) back to that icy cold room. She’s a form 1 student from TIGS. I’m really afraid that I will corrode her as she’s just so cute and demure.

The competition started shortly after the break. We were one of the last to present our presentation, the ninth team to be exact. The forth group was HS whao did a presentation on child abuse. They were indubitably very good -- visual effects was done professionally and eloquent. They language they used was of high standard. It was quite enlightening to look at their presentation. The 6th group (if I’m not mistaken) was also quite interactive and interesting.

Finally, after the long wait, it was our turn to present. We went out gingerly to the stage. I was quite shaky in the beginning. I think there’s probably about a million butterflies in my stomach. However, after that it was okay. My group got applauses when Yeo and me sang Selamat Hari Raya. (which was quite unexpected.) There was some technical problems in the mist of our presentation (the sound of the pre-saved text cannot be projected. Yeo managed to cover it up quickly by reading the text from the LCD. Fortunately no one realized and our presentation went quite smoothly. After the presentation, there was a lucky draw. Han was really lucky to be the first person to win the lucky draw. I had quite a pleasant surprise as my number was picked too! This was the first time of the 16 years in my life of getting something in a lucky draw. Maybe number 13 is not so unlucky after all ...

Finally, the moment of truth…. When the MC announced that we were the 5th prize winner, we were very happy. But later on the MC said there was no 5th prize as there was two 4th prize winners. Frankly speaking, I was quite disappointed at that very moment. However, unexpectedly, later on they announced that we were the 1st prize winner of the competition. We were stunt for a few seconds until the MC announced the second time that WE WERE THE WINNNERS!! It was REALLY unbelievable. It was weirder than the weirdest thing in the world and beyond our wildest dream – WE ACTUALLY WON! Yippee!!! I was totally exhilarated! I always thought that HS will win this competition but we won instead. To add to our joy, our school was also the overall champion for the Moral Carnival. ^,^(our school won another two prizes for 1st and 4th place respectively in drawing competition.) We called our Moral teacher to tell her about the results and to thank her. If not for her, we won’t even take the initiative to take part in this competition.

This competition was the best competition I’ve ever entered as I entered this competition with two of my best friends which really made the whole process really enjoyable and memorable. >.<
