Lunch^^

Cooked sweet potato soup, mee, fried cabbage and cabbage egg rolls for lunch! For the sweet potato soup, I used two kinds of sweet potato to give it a more attractive appearance! Used purple Japanese Sweet potato and the usual orange potato. Add a few pandan(screwpine)leaves and sugar. Quite happy with the product!

taadaa! Sweet potato soup

Also tried to cook cabbage rolls but it did not turn out very nice because I think I added in not enough eggs. Should have added three eggs so that it wouldn't break so easily. But never mind lah~ as long that it tastes nice right^o^

My cabbage egg rolls
Failure is the key to success.. Will try to make nicer ones in the future!

My First bento!

I've always been fascinated with Japanese bentos. They're simply so nice! So, today I decided to make my own =).

Spend a whole morning preparing the rice, cutting the ingredients. Didn't know it was this tiring. But the effort was worth it when my family said they enjoyed it!:P

Cooking lunch!

Since I'm so free after the SPM. So, why not? Cooked a simple lunch of fried rice and miso soup!

fried egg rice
ingredients: rice, eggs, salted veggie, carrot, soy sauce, pepper.

miso soup^^
ingredients: enoki mushroom, miso, raddish, carrot, tomato.

I think they taste all right. Of course it's not 5 star standard but it's edible lah~ Just that the miso soup is a wee bit salty XD( first time cooking this kind of soup, what do you expect?) Luckily it can be saved by adding some water.

Will experiment other recipe next time>,< Gambateh!!!~

Fresh Bread!

Fresh bread! Looks good enough to eat!>.<

Mum baked bread today with the new machine she bought recently. It turns out almost perfect today. Well, it tastes almost like the Gardenia bread! I think that it’s great to have home-made bread as no preservatives are added (100% original)!

Mooncake anyone?:D

Just bought a box of mooncake….

blueberry, green tea and mango mooncake
Looks quite ordinary right? But guess what? It is not the usual traditional mooncake. It’s made of ice-cream.
Yup! You guess it right. It’s ice-cream mooncake!

Comes with 6 types of flavours
Mango
Yogurt Blueberry
Black Sesame
Japanese Green Tea
Durian
Cookies’ n Cream (like this the most)

It is quite special and unique. First time tasting this kind of mooncake. It melts in your mouth and tastes like…. What else? Ice cream lah~
